The Research Centre for Mechanical Engineering and Automotive was established in 1389 (2010) with the aim of providing a suitable platform. It began its activities in the old building of the university and launched the Search and Rescue Robots Laboratory. The Research Centre for Architecture and Urban Planning established after formulating a proposal and undergoing several defense stages in the Commission of Trustees of Qazvin Province, along with conducting virtual meetings with the management of research centers of the central organization. The Inauguration of the Faculty of Management and Accounting was in 1378 (1999). This faculty has 38 classrooms equipped with whiteboards and video projectors, with a capacity of up to 60 students per class.
The Management group consists of 25 faculty members and 82 adjunct professors. The Accounting group comprises 12 faculty members and 28 adjunct professors. The Physical Education group includes 9 faculty members and 20 adjunct professors. The Basic Sciences group has 1 faculty member and 16 adjunct professors, while the English Language group consists of 11 faculty members and 22 adjunct professors.
The Faculty of Management, Accounting, and Human Resources offers education and research in fields such as management and accounting. Therefore, preparing students for careers in business administration, finance, and personnel management.
The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning started in 1379 (2000) as the Faculty of Architectural and Civil Engineering. In 1390 (2011), it separated the Civil Engineering group and became the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. Initially, it offered continuous master’s programs in architecture, continuous bachelor’s programs in civil engineering, and both continuous and non-continuous associate programs in architecture and civil engineering. Over 22 years, the faculty has expanded its administrative structure. It has established separate departments for educational and research activities under the dean’s office supervision.
The educational departments of the faculty include the Architecture, Urban Planning, and Graphic and Visual Communication departments, encompassing 11 academic disciplines at various academic levels.
Additionally, the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning has 24 faculty members in three groups. Architecture, Urban Planning, and Graphic Design, holding academic ranks of professor, associate professor, and assistant professor.
The Faculty of Engineering commenced construction in 1384 (2005) on a site covering an area of 10,843 square meters across four floors, and its construction finished in 1385 (2006), becoming operational. The landscaping and green space of the faculty encompass an area of over 4,562 square meters.
The current facilities of the faculty include a computer lab equipped with 10 computer systems. The Mechanical Research Centre office, the university’s central security office, the ICT centre of the university. The student welfare fund office, branches of the National Bank of Iran and Export Development Bank of Iran, and the CCRC centre. In addition, the Faculty of Engineering has 46 classrooms, including 15 audiovisual classrooms, 3 studio classrooms, 28 regular classrooms, and 6 small classrooms.
Given the size of the faculty and the location of its classrooms, every year we witness the administration of entrance exams, competitions, and examinations for various academic levels.
The Faculty of Medical Sciences is equipped with 10 classrooms and two clinical skills centers for nursing and operation room technology training. It also has an anatomy hall, microbiology and parasitology laboratories. It also has physiology, biochemistry, and genetics laboratories, providing a suitable environment for specialized workforce training. Clinical settings are available for internships and practical training in various departments at hospitals and healthcare centers in the city.
The Student Research Committee, as one of the committees of the Medical Education Development Office of the Faculty, is responsible for guiding the research activities of students. So far, groups of students from this faculty have succeeded in patenting inventions in the field of medical sciences, publishing articles, and printing books.
